Our Year in Review & What\u2019s to Come

In this article we’re going to let you know about what we’ve been up to behind the scenes in 2020 and tell you more about what’s to come from E&M and the team as we enter 2021. Hopefully this will give you more of an understanding about us as an agency, what our longer term plans are, and how we can help you with the sale or let of your property.

Obviously there was a lot of hardship for many in 2020 but despite all the challenges a lot of good came out of the year that we can update you on here.

The £1,000 giveaway

In December we decided to donate £1,000 to a local care home to help fund a Christmas party as we wanted to give the residents some fun after a tough year. We feel like it’s our duty to give back and we asked the local people for their help to do so. We received hundreds of nominations and after counting up all the votes we were pleased to announce that Woodside in Padiham were the happy recipients of our donation. Thank you for your nominations.

Helping the NHS

During the chaos of the first lockdown we knew we had to play our part and help the NHS. Being in the fortunate position of managing a lot of properties, we found and funded rooms for key NHS workers during the pandemic so that they didn’t have to commute for hours each day to get to work. Hopefully this helped our heroes get some well-earned rest between busy shifts.

Welcoming Kayleigh

We were pleased to welcome Kayleigh to our lettings team in 2020 as we continue to expand our services and the number of properties we manage. We’re pleased to report that Kayleigh has made a great start at E&M and is already a valuable member of the team.

Continuing to expand

We were fortunate enough to stay extremely busy throughout last year, so much so that we grew 40% year on year. To aid our growth we established our sales division to complement the lettings team. We’re now a fully-fledged estate agent and lettings agent in Burnley and we’re spreading our reach across the North West. We are already listing properties in Accrington and plan to open up a new office there and in Preston by the end of 2021.
